Service

Despite receiving negative reviews from magazines, this restaurant was highly recommended. The service and staff were unmatched, and the chef personally attended our meal. We also enjoyed their attentiveness towards our allergies, dairy, gluten, or vegan needs, as well as trying their delicious steaks, tender tender cuts, marinated vegetables, salads (my favorites), and dessert. Our dining experience at San Clemente was a complete surprise.

Value

Just returned to Riviera's for another amazing meal! The filet is by far the best I've ever tasted, and while the wine list is undoubtedly fantastic, the chef' s skill in cooking the food also leaves a lasting impression. Bravo! And enjoy the cocktails!

Menu

Despite lacking a fancy dress, South San Clemente offers food that is both elegant and delicious. The signature dishes are all the better after I've eaten at this incredible restaurant in the past.

During our birthday celebration, we had reservations for a table of 6 and were disappointed with the service that was not available due to an overcrowded table. Our server did an excellent job and served us well, but unfortunately, the dishes we ordered were not cooked. The starters were disappointing, including mussels and fried rice. Other appetizers like "sashimi" were also unappetizing. Unfortunately, some items were served raw without being served in their original form.

Vibe

Excellent brunch spot! The welcoming staff and excellent food were on full display- I especially enjoyed the short rib hash and chicken tenders served with chipotle relish. We had a wonderful time and we really enjoyed our stay there. Thank you for everything!

I had an early morning Valentine's Day dinner and had a wonderful time. The setting wasn't as romantic as some of the restaurants on Del Mar, but overall, the staff and the food/drinks were excellent!

Vibe

The restaurant we visited last night, Riveria, was spotless and had an unsatisfactory meal. We were seated at a small table in the back between two other couples when they asked for more tables. Our dinner included fried rice noodles with no brown meat or any kind of vegetable, and we were eager to try the rockfish Crudo special.

Despite the sticky toffee pudding being removed from the menu, this restaurant is simply amazing! From the decor and drinks to everything else, I can't wait to try these delicious desserts. Thank you so much!

Service

I was surprised to find out about Riviera. We had a fantastic meal and the deserts were delicious. Would definitely recommend trying the crab legs and scallops, or trying their Scallop Ceviche instead.
